Chapman's Peak Hotel
The old hotel at the foot of Chapman's Peak, famous for calamari and a terrace facing the bay.
The hotel sits where Chapman's Peak Drive begins, and its terrace looks straight back across the water at the valley.
The calamari is the thing it is known for and has been for a generation. Otherwise it is a comfortable, slightly old-fashioned seafood menu, which is exactly what the setting wants.
Best in the late afternoon with the light coming across the bay. Book if you want the terrace.
